Activities

This year's theme is The Gospel on Trial: Treasuring the Gospel that Withstands All Attacks. While the Gospel has been under attack for centuries, there are new forms of attack that are being employed to undermine the Gospel, especially among the next generation. During this year's 2025 YGC, we will look both at what the Gospel is and the various forms of attacks against it. However, we will do so in a more interactive way, testing different forms of attack against it and learning different tools to help each of us both have a greater confidence in the Gospel and more tools to help defeat attacks given against it.

In addition to great teaching, YGC will also have small groups, camp fire worship and testimony sharing and combined tables to allow youth to eat and fellowship together during meal times. YGC will also have fun events and activities planned for the youth - such as Octaball, Human Foosball, team challenges, Ultimate Frisbee, indoor challenges and more.

YGC will be taught by Hunter Turner, a staff member and local missionary to internationals and refugees in the Toledo, Ohio area. Together with his family and a team of leaders, they will help lead the YGC small groups, worship, games and activities.

A schedule for the weekend will be posted once confirmed.

Lodging information:

YGC is for youth, 7th-12th grade. There are 2 options for lodging.

  1. Families: Youth that attend with families will also lodge with their families. Before and after scheduled activities, parents are responsible for the care, supervision and lodging of their young men and women. During scheduled events, youth are required to attend with YGC group.
  2. Youth Groups: If you are a youth pastor or church leader and interested in bringing some youth, we require a youth leader for each lodge/room. Youth leaders would be strongly encouraged to take part in the YGC activities as well. As with option 1, youth leaders would be responsible for youth outside of scheduled events.

If you have any question, please feel free to contact CCCM through phone or email listed at the bottom of page.
